Welcome

Hi- and welcome to the blog of Stratford Software- a Micro ISV based in London.

My name's Tom Gallard, and I'm the founder of the company (company might be pushing it a bit- its really just me!).

At the moment we've got one product- Driving Test Cancellation Checker (http://www.drivingtestcancellations.co.uk) which launched just over a month ago, and is doing pretty nicely. In the next few months' blog posts, I'll be talking about some of the following areas.

1.) How it all got started
2.) Payment processors- Fastspring and PayPal
3.) License generation
4.) Bug tracking with Fogbugz
5.) Website design, analytics and tracking (Google Analytics, Crazy Egg)

And doubtless, lots more.

I'll also name a few of the blogs, books and other resources I've found most useful in getting this company up and running.

  6. i bought online but by mistake i missed out 1 number from my driving license number so when i recieved my license key number it says it doesnt match so i dont know what to do and there is no number so i can call to solve my problem.

  7. i have just bought this software and i still cant access the software because it keeps saying licence key does not match my license number. there is no number i can contact and i really want to get started with this. please help!!!

    I have emailed the given email address and granted I only did it about half an hour ago but while I am unable to use this software I am missing opportunities to book an early test!!

  14. I send email to enquiries@drivingtestcancellations.co.uk and i receive notice of the email being incorrect and undelivered.I bought your software but i made mistake in my driving license number so the software is not working. Idont have any contact number and your email is not working'

    Just want to really understand how the software works, read on the website that i will receive a massage if a new date comes available then i should text back and wait for reply from you, then if is succesfull i should check on DSA website if the details of my test were changed.
    So i receive text which said that i sholuld contact DSA. Is late and DSA close at 18pm.Please explain how does it work...

  21. I purchased this and have recieved texts from cancellation checker, i replied to these texts. But havent yet recieved any confirmation on weather i have the test date which i replied to! There is also no telephone number which i can call or an email system that actually works!

    What do you mean there is no email system that actually works?

    Please email on enquiries@drivingtestcancellations.co.uk (the email is clearly displayed both in the contact section of our website, and the Help section of the software) and I'll be able to help you out.

  23. i have replied 'book' and havent recieved any confirmation that i have that test date!

  25. Please email enquiries@drivingtestcancellations.co.uk for all questions/refunds etc. You'll get a much faster response than posting on this blog and I'll also be able to tell who you are. Posting as Anonymous on a blog makes it far more difficult to help you.

    There is no phone number as I have a day job- so I can't take calls at work!
